Virtual LoadMaster

The Virtual LoadMaster is a 'virtual appliance' (software) version of the award-winning LoadMaster family of advanced server load balancing and application delivery optimisation appliances.

Virtual LoadMaster installs and runs on a dedicated virtual machine as a 'Guest' operating OS/Application. It boasts the same features of the hardware-appliance version of the LoadMaster including Layer 4 load balancing, Layer 7 content switching, SSL Offload, Server and Application Health Checking, IP and Layer 7 Persistence, Caching, Compression, IPS and much more. In addition it supports stateful Active/Hot-standby configuration between two Virtaul Load Masters for redundancy and high-availability. It is managed using the same intuitive, easy-to-use Web User Interface as the LoadMaster appliance.
