vNET I/O Maestro – I/O Acceleration & I/O Consolidation

vNET IO Maestro is a rack-level appliance which aims to simplify deployment and manage complex server I/O. vNET I/O Maestro is based on industry standard PCI Express switching technology and is responsible for I/O consolidation and virtualisation at the top of the rack, however also allows customers to combine with their existing end of row switching. This therefore means that there is no need to replace any core network switches in order to take advantage of its complete functionality and in turn providing optimum I/O acceleration.

vNET I/O Maestro has an easy and time-saving I/O management structure with less cables, adapters and leaf switches. I/O performance is enhanced through greater flexibility where I/O resource modules and bandwidth can be added as needed. Also, virtual adapters (vNICs or vHBAs) assigned to servers appear just like a physical NIC or NBA inside the server aiding in I/O consolidation and I/O acceleration.
