LignUp in big platform provision deal

20 Mar 2006

LignUp has been selected to provide its flexible communications platform for a new generation of IP voice services developed by VoIP provider Streamdoor.

Streamdoor's main output involves a range of on-demand IP centre capabilities and a powerful network-based dialling platform intended for the use of companies with needs in telemarketing, customer surveying and similar.

Of the LignUp deal, Streamdoor CEO Jon Keattch said: "Delivering on the promise of service oriented architectures, LignUp provides the development capabilities that allow us to easily build services that differentiate us in the marketplace.

"The LignUp platform's flexibility is critical to our ability to innovate and deliver strong margin communication solutions in an increasingly competitive services marketplace."

LignUp's founder, COO and president Kevin Nethercot gave his own thoughts on the deal, saying: "Streamdoor represents the latest in a new generation of on-demand service providers working to uniquely enhance their customer's 'first point-of-contact' with new voice functionality.

"We are pleased to work with Streamdoor and provide the flexible platform they need to build these voice apps and deliver service capabilities that enhance their customers' end customer relationships."
