Huawei participates in Broadband World Forum
24 Oct 2006
Huawei played a leading role at the Broadband World Forum in Paris earlier this month, demonstrating its solutions and sharing its industry expertise with a large number of over 6,000 participants.
The Chinese firm led the opening 'broadband access transformation' workshop and, in another 'Building multi-service IP bearer networks to pave the way for IMS development' working group, disseminated its views on IP bearer network-related topics.
It also held a Metro Ethernet Network workshop – examining technology trends, operation models and IP MAN construction possibilities.
Wang Jiading, vice president for Huawei's Middle East and North Africa operations, commented: "In addition, Huawei also held several technical seminars on access network, optical network and data communications.
"During the three-day forum, Huawei showcased its superior Terabit FTTx solution and multi-service broadband MAN solution demonstrating its capacity for multi-services, like triple-play.".
