Data centre management event in London

20 Apr 2007

The Future of the Data Centre 2007 event is to be held on June 12th and 13th this year.

Scheduled to take place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, the conference is now in its third year and will cover a variety of issues concerned with data centre management.

Vendor-specific workshops will be held on the knowledge of co-location, connectivity and managed services.

A spokesperson commented: "As the reliance on and complexity of a 'data centre room' increases, more enterprises than ever are looking at specialist providers to outsource their data centre requirements.

"Information Age has recognised the demand from the enterprise market for more information around data centres and the changing nature of the data centre landscape."

The news comes as APC-MGE states that the data centre of the future ought to be "fully integrated, fully managed and fully scalable".
