DISUK launches iSecure

25 Apr 2007

A remote data management solution is to be made available to operations and security staff by DISUK.

Claimed to be the first truly remote solution of its kind, the new iSecure smart card will allow users of DISUK's Paranoia2 and SafeTape encryption devices to manage data security and compliance without having to visit the site.

Features offered by the new product include key generation, management and entry, a range of encryption modes, engineering functions and full audit capabilities.

"We have designed iSecure with ease of use and simplicity of management in mind," said Rob Gretton, business development director at DISUK.

"Key management stays with security and compliance while operations are given access to varying levels of functionality based on their authority."

According to DISUK, organisations such as Independent Living Funds, ABN AMRO, Time Warner and Bank of America have experienced data losses.
