StorStac offering bolstered by Intransa

25 Apr 2007

Storage solution provider Intransa has added three new products to its StorStac System offering – the SCE3, SCE7 and SC11.

All of the new products support RAID levels 0, 1, 5 and 10 and - as with the rest of the range - are integrated with Intransa's Performance Controller Unit 20.

The SCE3 is configured to 3.75 terabytes per enclosure, while the SCE7 serves up to 7.5 terabytes and the SCE11 serves 11 terabytes.

Lee Zipin, vice president of engineering at Intransa, said the new products will give customers "even more flexibility" when building a new installation or upgrading an existing StorStac system.

Intransa claims that its StorStac systems deliver "proven, independently scalable performance and capacity in an affordable, pay-as-you-grow model as part of a complete business solution".

The company recently announced the establishment of an OEM partnership with ABREVITY to develop cost-effective data classification solutions.
