Intransa names new finance executive

01 May 2007

Intransa has announced the appointment of its new vice president of its finance and administration divisions.

Robert Mally will take up the post with immediate effect in a move which follows a raft of appointments by the vendor.

This includes the recruitment of Lee Zipin as vice president of engineering, Jeff Whitney in marketing and George Vaiser as vice president of sales.

Bud Broomhead, chief executive officer of Intransa, commented: "Intransa had been seeking an experienced financial executive with an extensive background in corporate financial planning, implementation and management for high technology companies. We found all of that in Robert."

Mr Broomhead added that Intransa's partners and customers are all set to benefit from Mr Mally's expertise.

Robert Mally has previously worked with Walt Disney, BMG Direct and Signet Bank, having spent 18 years in financial leadership roles.

The news follows reports that Intransa is to add three new products to its StorStac system, comprising the SCE3, SCE7 and SC11.
