Sanrad reports 'explosive growth'
24 Oct 2007
Storage area network (San) solutions provider Sanrad has reported "explosive growth" in new financial results.
Customer expansion in North America and record-breaking sales around the globe have led Sanrad to renewed success, according to figures for the third quarter recently made available by the company.
The news follows the appointment of Dave DuPont as chief executive officer in May, with the assertion made at the time that he was to "focus on the company's overall growth strategy".
"Dave's vision for the company - including his laser focus on a huge market opportunity - and the company's commitment to a channel-only model have already made a difference," observes Kevin Weiss, president of Chicago-based IT firm DSN Group.
In all, third-quarter revenues were 87 per cent up on the second quarter, with the growth said to be derived from the popularity of Sanrad's iSCSI San solutions, which can add virtualisation to an existing infrastructure while consolidating server usage.
