Gold award for Eaton Powerware BladeUPS

A recent industry award given to the Eaton Powerware BladeUPS uninterruptible power supply is symbolic of its innovation and flexibility, the company says.
The accolade - a gold standard Product of the Year title - was granted to the brand by industry publication SearchDataCenter.com in the category of Data CentreBackup Power.
Eaton notes that the issues taken into account by the judges included the need for compact and powerful solutions in light of the increasing energy usage of data centres and the limited amount of physical space available.
Chris Loeffler, Powerware BladeUPS product manager, says: "Data centre and IT managers are continuously seeking new strategies to address their energy concerns.
"The SearchDataCenter.com gold award reinforces Eaton's commitment to providing its customers with innovative solutions to address their increasing power needs."
Meanwhile, the Eaton Powerware 9395 was also recently named as Product of the Year, with that award coming in the Electrical Power category of Plant Engineering magazine's honours.
