Virtualisation a high priority, says Virtual Iron
14 Mar 2008
Many IT managers are currently viewing the implementation of virtualisation technology as their highest priority, according to Virtual Iron.
The firm, which produces software management systems for virtualised networks, recently appointed industry expert Tony Asaro to the role of chief strategy officer.
Now he notes the growing demand for the technology among those with the responsibility for making decisions which relate to the administration of their company's data storage network.
"Implementing server virtualisation is one of the highest priorities in IT regardless of size, industry or region in the world," he observes.
Mr Asaro adds that those investing in Virtual Iron's applications could find they are given access to a cost effective and easy to manage solution with advanced capabilities.
The firm recently announced "outstanding" financial results indicating accelerated sales momentum over the second half of 2007.
Virtual Iron reported growth at a rate faster than that of the market as a whole, which industry analyst IDC had detected as being in excess of 60 per cent annually.
