Best in Show award for Intransa

Intransa's appearance at the ISC West exposition in Las Vegas was capped off with a Best in Show accolade earlier this month.
The award was given to 32 firms in attendance at the conference which were deemed worthy of inclusion on the shortlist drawn up by online security industry resource SecurityDreamer.
Jeff Whitney, vice-president of marketing at Intransa, says: "This recognition and inclusion in the best of show list by SecurityDreamer is greatly appreciated by Intransa.
"It recognises that our affordable shared, scalable and simple external IP storage is exactly what the physical security industry needs."
Among the new technology launched by the company at the conference was its Edge Block M12 edge storage recording platform and a Video Storage Administrator toolset.
The firm's IP storage for video also appeared as part of the exhibits put in place by a number of other companies in attendance at the show.
Intransa's entry in the event's exhibitors list explains that the company's products may be used to upgrade video storage systems for greater reliability and retention with less maintenance burden.
