Force10 'offers reliability and scalability'

Force10 Networks has asserted that its products are both reliable and scalable, making them effective for networks which need to carry either data, voice signals or a combination of the two.
The comments come as Bahrain-based Next Generation Network Solutions (NGNS) has adopted Force10 Networks switches and routers as the first stage towards ensuring the reliability of its own network.
James Hanley, senior vice-president of worldwide sales at Force10 Networks, says: "Force10 delivers the networking solutions to build a scalable infrastructure that is highly reliable."
He adds that NGNS selected the company's products in order to facilitate seamless expansion as its customer base and traffic requirements grow over the coming months.
S50 access switches from Force10 Networks form the outer perimeter of the network, helping to aggregate traffic across some 600 different servers.
Vice-president of marketing at the firm Stephen Garrison recently advised taking a holistic approach to ensuring the eco-efficiency of data centres by addressing both cooling and power demands.
