Diligent a finalist in 2008 MITX Technology Awards

Diligent Technologies could be adding some silver to its trophy cabinet after reaching the finals of an industry awards show.
The MITX Technology Awards, now in their fifth year, take place annually and aim to reward individuals and organisations responsible for technological developments in the New England area.
Diligent Technologies has reached the finals in the data protection category and is due to appear alongside its competitors at a ceremony on June 3rd.
Chief executive officer of the firm Doron Kempel comments: "Having our ProtecTIER solution selected as a MITX Technology Awards finalist in the data protection category is another great accomplishment for us."
ProtecTIER was a first for the industry, according to Diligent Technologies, enabling data protection to be used alongside deduplication to cut storage requirements by up to 25 times.
The news follows Diligent Technologies being named a "cool vendor" by industry analyst Gartner for its eye-catching and innovative product range.
