EdgeMarc chosen 'for VoIP compatibility'

30 Jun 2008

VocalNet has confirmed that Edgewater Networks' EdgeMarc has been chosen for DigitalVoice, a hosted PBX solution.

The company notes that EdgeMarc was chosen for its VoIP compatibility, as well as "attractive" troubleshooting capabilities and its overall user-friendliness.

VocalNet claims it will deploy the EdgeMarc technology at customer premises and will use it for their DigitalVoice offering.

"We believe our EdgeMarc solutions allow service providers to simplifiy their offerings and scale their businesses," said David Norman, chief executive officer of Edgewater Networks.

He added that the company was "very excited" about a partnership with VocalNet as part of the DigitalVoice service.

Vice-president of operations at VocalNet Annette Warren said the products ensure that there is a good customer experience and the installation and problem resolution times are kept to a minimum.

Last month, Edgewater Networks confirmed its EdgeMarc VoIP products are now rated as Avaya compliant.
