Spectra Logic MLM praised

Spectra Logic's Media Lifecycle Management (MLM) software has been granted an industry accolade, the organisation reveals.
The data backup and archiving solutions provider reveals that it has been praised for the second year running in the CRN Emerging Technologies Vendor Awards programme.
MLM software from Spectra Logic helps to reduce the likelihood of a system failure by monitoring the health of components, with the company claiming to diminish failures by up to 63 per cent.
CRN suggests that the ideal partner for Spectra Logic would be an integrator looking to provide storage solutions at the enterprise level and to small and medium-sized businesses.
Betsy Doughty, director of channel development for Spectra Logic, notes that up to 80 per cent of the firm's revenues are derived from partnership programmes such as its SpectraEdge scheme.
"We introduced a tape health reporting feature so SpectraEdge partners can easily position our libraries as superior," she adds.
