Intransa 'among an elite list'

The "elite list" of best performing storage firms currently includes Intransa, according to an industry publication.
StorageSearch has included Intransa in its latest shortlist of the fastest growing companies in the sector - and the only entry in the ranking to provide storage specifically for video surveillance systems.
Intransa explains that its products are designed to interoperate with security solutions for video surveillance from 40 providers of physical equipment and more than 35 vendors of IT-based security.
Jeff Whitney, vice-president of marketing for Intransa, says: "Our growth rate is proof that by using Intransa's scalable, security-grade IP storage for video surveillance applications customers are seeing the benefits."
He adds that, by implementing Intransa products, operators of video surveillance systems may find the longevity of their infrastructure is actually extended.
Intransa chief executive officer Bud Broomhead recently appeared in the Step Up to the Mic series in IPVS magazine, addressing the unique benefits to be derived from IP storage for surveillance operators.
