ONStor and Fujitsu extend partnership

07 Aug 2008

ONStor has revealed moves to extend its reseller agreement with Fujitsu Computer Systems, allowing it to sell Eternus 4000 and 8000 storage area network systems alongside its own clustered network-attached storage gateways.

Senior vice-president of worldwide sales Tom Gallivan says: "By offering Eternus, we are expanding the choice available to our customers when it comes to selecting a best-of-breed, energy-efficient storage solution that reduces complexity in the data centre while maximising performance."

He adds that the agreement has been extended due to the positive reception the initial concordance gained from both customers of ONStor and its partners within the data storage sector.

The firm asserts that the combination of the devices offers an "unbeatable" level of performance for price for both medium-sized and enterprise-class data centres.

ONStor was among the sector's participants to be recognised recently by industry publication CRN in its emerging tech vendors shortlist for 2008 for the quality of its enterprise-level network-attached storage devices.
