Eaton 9130 UPS 'helps users go green'

09 Sep 2008

Companies looking to reassert their commitment to the environment could find the latest uninterruptible power supply (UPS) from Eaton to be an ideal option.

The organisation explains that its Eaton Powerware 9130 UPS has a number of features to help maintain an eco-friendly network infrastructure by operating at high levels of efficiency.

Herve Tardy, vice-president and general manager of the distributed power quality business unit at Eaton, says: "Eaton's 9130 has been specifically designed to meet the needs of our customers by delivering high power availability while using an exceptionally efficient design."

Eaton suggests that the device has a potential efficiency of 95 per cent under ideal conditions, while during periods of interruption to the mains supply it continues to deliver "clean, continuous power".

The company previously advised that clients might wish to adopt its Power Xpert range of monitoring equipment in order to keep track of the amount of power consumed by the network and the quality with which it is delivered.
