Asigra offers hassle-free data backup

Data backup can be a little easier with Asigra's Televaulting technology, according to a company spokesperson.

Executive vice-president Eran Farajun explains that the solution can be deployed centrally on the network and, thanks to its agentless design, avoids complications relating to multiple software licences.

"The software is designed to be compatible with all platforms and to expand as a business grows without the need for interference, resulting in ease-of-use and ease-of-deployment," he comments.

Asigra client A Desaur & Co adds that the software backs up its laptops when they connect to the internet, ensuring that data on portable devices is also secure and protected against loss.

Industry analyst the Enterprise Strategy Group recently highlighted the functionality of Televaulting particularly for virtualised data networks.

The report noted that the software allows companies to protect data on virtualised servers in an unobtrusive way, as well as to recover data effectively should any problems be encountered.
