

'Significant strides' for Spectra Logic Federal

Spectra Logic Federal has announced that it has achieved "significant strides" in recent months, placing it in a competitive position within its key market segment.
The federal services arm of Spectra Logic provides solutions to authorities and governmental bodies in the US and around the globe for data storage, backup, protection and archiving of information.
Vice-president and general manager Brian Grainger says that new figures from the US General Services Administration highlight the "significant strides we have made as an organisation within the hundreds of federal agencies worldwide".
The administration has published statistics ranking Spectra Logic Federal in the top ten per cent of IT vendors on its Schedule 70 listing.
Spectra Logic Federal recently announced the launch of a new facility in Washington DC to serve both its employees and its federal clients.
The venue comprises both meeting space for its sales and engineering employees, as well as training facilities for partners and end-user customers.
