Intransa surveillance selected by Boch

30 Mar 2009

Intransa video retention solutions have been implemented by automobile organisation Boch Enterprises as part of an IP-based surveillance system, it has emerged.

The storage solution has been deployed with IP cameras and a video management system to replace an analogue video camera network that was offering fuzzy images and sparse coverage of the company's premises.

Ernie Boch Jr, chief executive officer and president of Boch Enterprises, says: "We were able to immediately address the growing risk of theft and loss, while providing increased coverage, improved image quality, longer retention times and greater reliability."

He adds that "tangible business value" has been delivered along with improved accuracy for the firm when investigating particular instances which may have been caught on camera.

Intransa also recently revealed that more than 150 vendors have now been certified as part of its StorAlliance scheme which aims to identify producers of equipment capable of interoperating with Intransa's own storage and retention units.
