ExaGrid backup 'quick and easy'

ExaGrid offers quick and easy backup to its clients, according to a company spokesperson.
President and chief executive officer Bill Andrews explains that some backup technologies are unable to cope with the continual increase in archiving requirements that many companies face.
"ExaGrid's disk-based backup with deduplication system was designed to work with existing backup applications to quickly, easily and cost-effectively reduce long backup windows," he says.
One recent client to benefit from the system is healthcare and medical outsourcing provider International SOS UK, which has seen its backup window more than halved from 14 hours to around six.
The firm looked to ExaGrid's solutions as its backups were lasting into the next working day - meaning files could not be restored if a problem was encountered early in the morning.
ExaGrid recently revealed that more than 100 other companies have now been profiled in case studies on its website, showing the benefits they have derived from its products.
