Intransa pre-loads surveillance software

Intransa customers could find out-of-the-box functionality easier in the coming months as the company has revealed it is now pre-loading its products with surveillance software.

Softsite32 video surveillance software from JDS Digital Security Systems has been certified for integration with Intransa products for both the management and retention of video data from surveillance systems.

Bud Broomhead, chief executive officer of Intransa, says: "Providing Softsite32 as a pre-loaded option on each Intransa VideoAppliance is a major benefit for those deploying equipment in a variety of surveillance markets."

The software equips Intransa devices with patented technology for auto-discovery, auto-configuration and video analytics, along with network device licensing and "IP-intelligent" video.

Products in the Intransa VideoAppliance range cater for round-the-clock surveillance on a 24-hour, 365 days per year basis.

Intransa adds that this is possible as its solutions are designed specifically for video, rather than being general data management or retention devices which have been repurposed to carry visual signals.
