ExacqVision 'pre-loaded by Intransa'

03 Jun 2009

Intransa has announced the option to have Exacq Technologies' open architecture video management system exacqVision pre-loaded on its surveillance appliances.

Chief executive officer Bud Broomhead explains that exacqVision is commonly requested by Intransa customers and that Exacq Technologies has a proven history in the creation of video management systems.

"Having exacqVision as a pre-loaded option on each of our Intransa VideoAppliance systems is of tremendous benefit and I expect it will be a very popular choice," he adds.

Ahead of the move, Intransa tested exacqVision for interoperability with its surveillance appliances at capacities ranging from two terabytes to 1.5 petabytes - adding it to more than 150 Intransa-certified interoperable products and applications.

This is the latest in a number of pre-loading partnerships to have been announced by Intransa in recent days.

Previously, the company revealed that its clients may now choose to have JDS Digital Security Systems' Softsite32 video surveillance software pre-loaded on to their surveillance appliances.
