'Seamless integration' with snom m3
09 Jun 2009
Businesses can achieve "seamless integration" between mobile and fixed VoIP handsets thanks to the snom m3, it has been claimed.
The snom m3 is a wireless addition to the company's range of tabletop phones, designed with call forwarding and on-hold music to cater for high-demand extensions.
Now snom has entered into a deal with Whaleback Systems, a provider of managed VoIP solutions, with the snom m3 certified as being interoperable with the company's CrystalBlue Voice Service.
Michael Knieling, executive vice-president of sales and marketing for snom, says that the partnership "provides businesses with the capability to offer a mobile communications solution in the workplace that is seamlessly and securely integrated with their office phone system".
The snom m3's other specifications include an address book capable of storing 100 entries, an indoor wireless range of up to 164 feet and, when used outdoors, functionality at up to 328 feet from the base unit.
