Zeus ZXTM achieves SAP certification

Zeus Technology has announced SAP certification of its Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager (ZXTM) version 5.
The application delivery platform is, according to Zeus, the only software-based product of its type and has been certified for use across both application delivery and wide area network optimisation solutions from SAP.
David Day, chief technical officer of Zeus Technology, says: "SAP's certification standards are strict and we are pleased that the Zeus ZXTM 5 application delivery solution has passed all the requirements."
The testing procedure used ZXTM along with SAP's own NetWeaver technology platform and simulated normal end-user conditions to determine that the two can interoperate successfully.
Zeus Technology recently announced that Australian cloud computing provider Rejila, part of parent group Ultra Serve, has adopted Zeus load balancing solutions in order to scale its systems to meet changing client needs.
Ultra Serve already uses the ZXTM platform as part of its enterprise-class managed hosting services provision.
