Zeus Traffic Manager product wins prestigious award
23 Nov 2009
Zeus Technology - the only British company to provide traffic management software for storage applications - has won a Best Infrastructure Product 2009 award. The firm was victorious at the Techworld 2009 event for its enterprise-class, layer-7 load balancing and application traffic management solution.
The product is said to offer a level of efficiency and speed that cannot be realised with normal proprietary software. Zeus Traffic Manager (ZTM) can be adapted to work with any data system on any platform and deployed in either a cloud, physical or virtual environment. The company claims that ZTM provides the "ultimate flexibility" that its clients demand.
Paul Brennan, Zeus's chief executive officer, said: "Businesses continue to recognise the importance of scaling web capability quickly and reliably. We are now continuing to develop our product line, so that we can give customers a stable online presence and optimum protection from downtime."
In August Zeus software was praised by chief executive David Day for managing traffic "without compromising performance".
