Intransa security product makes Technologies of 2009 shortlist

14 Dec 2009

Intransa's VideoAppliance software has been named one of the top 30 security solutions of 2009. The product made the shortlist in the Top Security Technologies category of the awards handed out by Security Sales and Integration.

VideoAppliance eradicates any need for intricate and difficult-to-install commodity servers and storage. The solution can also be run unattended - further reducing the costs involved - and offers excellent reliability, expandability and capacity. In addition to the significant improvements in cost and complexity, VideoAppliance does not adversely impact on any of the benefits of IP technology, according to Intransa.

Jeff Whitney, vice-president of marketing at Intransa, said: "The VideoAppliance has been well-received by the industry since its announcement and is being rapidly adopted by everyone from municipal governments to retail stores."

Last week Intransa stated that it is anticipating growth in 2010 as a post-recession Britain begins to invest heavily in cost-effective video security technology.
