CTERA Wins Product Of The Year

CTERA Networks has received a top honour at the 2014 Storage, Virtualisation, Cloud (SVC) Awards ceremony, earning the award of Cloud Storage Product of the Year.

An annual event, the SVC awards recognise the best products, projects and services in the industry, as well as the best companies and teams operating in the cloud, virtualisation and storage sectors.

CTERA's Cloud Storage Services Platform is the first cloud storage solution in the world to combine enterprise endpoint backup software, enterprise file sync and share software, and cloud storage gateway appliances in one solution.

This technology works as a platform, enabling organisations to sync, serve and protect their data across any device from any point in the world via one centrally managed solution. Providing 100 per cent security, the platform is even deployable on the cloud infrastructure of the user's choosing.

According to Jeff Denworth, SVP of marketing at CTERA, the award is just further validation of the company's work to progress the huge paradigm shift that is taking place within modern enterprise, where organisations are increasingly seeking new ways to enable their users to securely store, share and protect their files without compromising security.

He continued: “CTERA is proud to enable leading IT organisations to transform into IT-as-a-Service organisations and serve a suite of cost-effective data services that complement their IT user productivity, mobility and security strategy.”
