What is (in)spire?

Zycko (in)spire is an annual event focused in providing industry and technology knowledge to help resellers keep up to speed and therefore recognise and close more opportunities.

The event is a combined conference and exhibition, bringing together analysts, futurologists, consultants, vendors and industry specialists to share knowledge.

What happened at (in)spire 08?

At (in)spire 08 speakers included Tony Lock from Freeform Dynamics, Nick Sundby from IDC, futurologist Dr James Bellini, Jon Collins from Freeform Dynamics and end user Ray Ford from Accident Exchange – amongst a total of over 20 speakers. Resellers had a choice of presentation stream picking from commercial, technical and vendor based.

Subjects included virtualisation (servers and storage), storage, data centre control, selling services in an economic downturn, marketplace evaluation for resellers, remote working amongst other useful industry information. For a full agenda please click here >>

The exhibition hall included stands from Force10, Hitachi Data Systems, Riverbed, Zeus, Exagrid, Spectra Logic, Eaton Powerware, SmartOptics, ONStor, Intransa, Isilon, Edgewater Networks, Lifesize, PowerDsine and Huawei.

The event was held at Williams F1 Conference Centre, and the day included a visit to their museum, access to their F1 simulator, and a guest speaking slot from Perry McCarthy, the original STIG from TopGear.
