Hitachi Data Systems Posts Highest Revenues In Company History15 May 2012 18:36:00
Hitachi Data Systems, a market leader in providing cloud-based data storage solutions, has just announced its record-breaking financial results for the fourth quarter of the 2011 financial year and the year ending March 31, 2012.
The last financial year saw the highest revenues in company history with Hitachi Data Systems’s consolidated revenues around the $4.4 billion US Dollars mark, up 15 per cent from the 2010 set of financial results.
The Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) and Hitachi NAS Platform have acted as key drivers for this success, with 2011’s year-on-year growth in the “high sixties” and “high thirties” respectively.
Meanwhile, overall year-on-year growth saw significant increases in total hardware revenues and enterprise storage. Expectations for the 2012 fiscal year currently point towards revenues reaching “¥355 billion for the year, up 1 per cent.”
