Hitachi Data Systems Unveils Hitachi Unified Storage (HUS)24 April 2012 17:56:00
Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., today launched its groundbreaking Hitachi Unified Storage (HUS) framework.
The technology giant has announced its latest innovation will redefine unified storage. Customers can manage their critical business applications and growth requirements without effecting performance, scalability or cost efficiency. In addition, HUS “...stores multiple data types with more flexibility and more balanced scalability than any other midrange solution”.
Crucially, HUS delivers a single-management system ideally suited to smaller organisations that can’t make provisions for multiple platforms to accommodate block and file data.
HUS represents the latest development in Hitachi Data Systems’ cloud strategy and has also been endorsed by global partners including Cisco and the Intel Corporation.
The main benefits of HUS include reduced costs, capacity for growth and seamless access to business data in a virtualised environment.
