Chris Mcpeek, Manager of Global Systems and Infrastructure for International Justice Mission, has outlined how deploying Riverbed to optimise its existing WAN infrastructure has drastically cut operation costs – which ultimately enables the organisation to save more lives.

The human rights advocacy group works with lawyers, investigators, and local justice departments to rescue people from human trafficking and other forms of violent oppression internationally.

Mcpeek described the lack of infrastructure in some of the countries in which they operate as a key issue, with poor internet access, low bandwidth, and costly synchronisation with their data centre.

The integrity of the information relayed by the not-for-profit group is crucial when working with police and justice departments overseas. Riverbed Steelheads have enabled the organisation to reduce inefficiency and make significant savings.
