Overland Storage, the trusted provider of effortless data management and data protection, has recently announced its third quarter fiscal results for 2012.
Revenue in the company’s SnapServer DX Series of products more than doubled. This was a key factor behind the 22 per cent sequential revenue growth in Overland’s range of disk-based products compared to the second quarter of the 2012 financial year.
Since its introduction last October, the SnapServer DX Series has been named ‘Hardware Product of the Year’ at the 2012 Network Computing Awards and finished runner-up in the ‘Data Centre Product of the Year’ category.
Furthermore, the company’s SnapServer DX2, offering high capacity and high volume, began shipping in May 2012.
Eric Kelly, president and CEO of Overland Storage, remarked that the results reflect “...the investments we have made in these products."
