An increasing number of businesses are happy with the cloud services they are receiving, according to research conducted by the Cloud Industry Forum (CIF).

The data, published by leading channel mag CRN, showed that 61 per cent of 250 UK-based organisations are currently using cloud-based services, with 92 per cent of those reporting satisfaction. Larger companies are leading the way, with 68 per cent reporting cloud use.

CIF’s research also suggested that a quarter of businesses that do not currently use cloud services plan to introduce them in the next year, and the public sector and SMB community have the largest appetite for cloud.

Chairman of CIF, Andy Burton, said: "The dramatic overall increase in cloud adoption in the UK market suggests that the enthusiasm for cloud is still strong.”
