Verdiem Euro MD Claims US Taking Lead On Emission Cutting

David West, the European managing director of energy saving solutions provider Veridem, has claimed US businesses have been more successful in reducing energy consumption than their counterparts in Europe.

West cited utility rebates in the US as a key driver behind companies looking to reduce their consumption and make significant savings. In contrast, Europe’s Carbon Reduction Commitment is seen as a negative idea, with penalties for failing to comply with targets.

However, as energy prices in Europe soar, West hinted that an increasing number of companies were looking to reduce consumption.

Verdiem has been producing PC management software for over ten years that helps companies “...make energy savings of up to 60 per cent”.

Once Verdiem’s software is installed it will develop an energy control strategy for a computer network.
