Lifesize Appoints Chief Information Officer & Director of Security and Privacy
Lifeize, a global innovator of video conferencing technology, announced that it has welcomed Vineet Misra as chief information office and Bryan Brown as director of security and privacy. Through their critical roles, Misra and Brown will support the rapid growth of the organisation’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) video communication application, combined with plug-and-play HD camera and phone systems for any meeting room.

Misra brings more than two decades of experience leading transformational IT operations and strategic initiatives. Most recently, he served as senior director of corporate IT with Domo, a high-growth startup specialising in business intelligence tools and data visualisation. Misra has also served in leadership positions overseeing IT and engineering operations, product operations and business operations at Cisco, Apple and Dell, respectively.

Brown joins Lifesize after serving as the cloud security officer for IBM’s SaaS and cloud offerings where he oversaw compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements relating to data security and privacy worldwide. Prior to this, he oversaw the assimilation of acquired companies into the IBM environment as a senior acquisitions architect. In this role, he supervised the integration of all state, federal and international regulatory requirements with IBM standards, policies and procedures.
