Lifesize Fuels Global Deployment With Customer-Focused Enhancements

Lifesize, a division of Logitech, has announced enhancements to its award-winning Lifesize Cloud video conferencing service, which offer greater accessibility, control and collaboration to every user.

According to Lifesize, these and other regularly scheduled future enhancement to Lifesize Cloud continue to fuel global adoption of the video SaaS offering and Lifesize Icon family, which deliver a connected experience to more than 1,000 companies.

Craig Malloy, Lifesize founder and CEO, has suggested that cloud-based video communications has “exploded”, from small businesses to global corporations. “Consumer applications have influenced the need to be fully accessible, anywhere at any time.”

He continued: “Lifesize Cloud delivers the industry’s most integrated video experience, making it easy to connect across offices, small or large conference rooms and mobile devices in a scalable way.”

According to Andrew Davis, research and analyst in the field of collaboration and conferencing for Wainhouse Research, this transition from hardware to SaaS is present throughout the video conferencing sector, significantly increasing the range of opportunities for cloud solutions.

By frequently updating their cloud solution, Mr Davis states that Lifesize are providing their large network of customers with the most relevant and useful features possible, ensuring a high level of performance that’s simple, scalable and applicable across devices.

“From easy scheduling to Lync interoperability to browser-based calling, Lifesize makes it easy for any organisation to adopt video conferencing into their everyday lives,” he said.
