LifeSize Grabs Major IT Award

Lifesize - Video Conferencing

The LifeSize Icon suite of easy to use video conferencing solutions has won a big award from TMCNet – a leading US tech publisher. The network has dubbed the system, which provides a new, simplified user experience specifically designed to make video communication so intuitive practically anyone can use it without training, as one of the most innovative products of 2013.

In the 2013 Unified Communications (UC) TMC Labs Innovation Award, presented by TMCNet’s Internet Telephony magazine editors, the organisation says it’s honoured the vendors who have upheld the highest standards in advancing the field. It also states it only honours those who have made “significant strides” in advancing UC.

Icon was granted the award after extensive exploration of its functionality by the TMC Lab engineers, who clearly appreciated the product’s ‘smart video’ approach. That’s an approach engineered into the very design to strip away all the complicated processes inherent in all too much modern video technology – to encourage video customers previously intimidated by the cost and complexity.

Welcoming the award, the high definition video conferencing leader says it is “honoured” and thanks the UC community for the recognition.
