FalconStor and ExaGrid Offer ‘Deduplication Tools to Check Out’

Enterprise Storage Forum has listed 13 further deduplication ‘tools to check out’, and has named ExaGrid and FalconStor on the prestigious list.

This list follows on from a list of eight deduplication products to look at published last month which included Zycko vendor Asigra.

FalconStor File Interface Deduplication System is praised at number three on this list. The File Interface Deduplication, which is aimed at SMBs and remote offices, is LAN-based deduplication that is compatible with almost all backup and archiving applications.

In position four on the list is ExaGrid, which has been recognised for the deduplication built into its products, specifically the EX13000E which enables customers to store a 130TB full backup plus a large amount of retention in a grid-based backup system.
