inAVate Praises LifeSize Connections

Connections, the video collaboration tool from video conferencing vendor LifeSize, has received a glowing review from leading AV technology publication inAVate.

inAVate assistant editor Anna Mitchell said the subscription service is “quick and easy to set up” and benefits from a clear layout and intuitive menus. She also highlighted the secure, nine-way HD video, voice, data and text bridging.

Her review praised the one-touch collaboration button – which allows the end user to share their desktop with call participants – and the multiple layout options. She described the option of central management as a “huge advantage” for desktop conferencing solutions.

Resellers can provide Connections as a service for their clients, offering a revenue stream which would add value to a wider communications installation, she noted.

Connections is fully supported but requires no on-site infrastructure or IT staff.
