Leading furniture retailer adopts Vyatta

Vyatta has announced that Z Gallerie has chosen the Vyatta Network OS, to provide enhanced levels of security and networking for its virtual private cloud (VPC - provided by Amazon).

Z Gallerie, which is a leading home décor and furniture retailer, invested in Vyatta in order to create a scalable VPN solution. The solution would be connected securely to the company’s developers around the world, enabling the VPC to be leveraged as a test bed for the development of eCommerce sites.

“Vyatta brought improved networking and security to our cloud, enabling our team to cut the time needed to push code to the stage environment from 6 or 7 hours to less than an hour,” said Balaji Thirumeninathan, Manager of Application Development at Z Gallerie.

Vyatta Network OS for Amazon Cloud allows businesses to take advantage of its customer controlled advanced networking functionality.
