Overland Storage up for two gongs at Network Computing Awards

Overland Storage's SnapServer DX product range has been shortlisted for two awards at the Network Computing Awards - Data Centre Product of the Year and Hardware Product of the Year.

First launched in October 2011, the SnapServer DX leverages the company's DynamicRAID technology with a unified NAS and iSCSI SAN device. This enables users to remove the need to provision storage capacity. With a maximum capacity of 288TB, the hardware allows the simple scaling down of storage environments, guaranteeing the highest data protection without the need for downtime.

Jeremy Zuber, Overland Storage, product marketing manager of the SnapServer division said: "Our goal when we launched the SnapServer was to build a solution with the best features and price of any NAS solution in its class.
