Tintri Launches VMstore T540

Leading producer of VM-aware storage appliances, Tintri, has announced the launch of its latest storage solution for virtual machines – the VMstore T540. The appliance boasts a series of ground-breaking capabilities including new data bottleneck-breaking functionality, auto-alignment of virtual machines and overlaying operating systems, dual storage controllers and expanded capacity including a single data store of 13.5TB, plus 2.4TBs of flash memory for instant access.

The manufacturer is using Zycko for its EMEA distribution and Zycko’s group sales and marketing director, David Galton-Fenzi, commented on the storage market’s transformation and Tintri’s role: “Tintri has emerged as a leader in this space, providing an innovative solution that extends the benefits of virtualisation from the server side to storage.
