University of Northampton installs KEMP load balancing appliances

In a move which will improve the performance and flexibility of its library services authentication, University of Northampton has invested in KEMP Loadmaster 3600 appliances. Designed to help the university’s 14,000 plus students, and 2000 plus staff using Microsoft Exchange 2010 Servers; Staff will benefit from a resilient and reliable email links and in addition students will have speedy access to single sign-on for worldwide academic databases.
George Zervos, KEMP’s UK Manager commented: “Traditionally, the cost of load balancing has made it difficult for most educational establishments and SMEs to adopt. We quickly recognised the growing demand for affordable solutions and our LoadMaster appliances start from £1,620.00”
KEMP Centre reseller and education specialist System Professional supplied and installed the server load balancers and also offered technical advice on getting the optimum results from KEMP load balancers with Microsoft Exchange 2010.
