Virtensys 'is a catalyst' for next-gen green data centres

VirtensysInput-output virtualisation products from Virtensys are among the catalysts helping to drive development of next-generation data centres with enhanced green profiles, according to a newly appointed director of the company.

Mark Christensen, a veteran of the technology industry, says: "I am impressed with the market opportunity for input-output virtualisation and with the way the company is solving real customer problems today."

He adds that many customers are finding Virtensys' VIO-4000 solution offers immediate benefits without demanding that any changes should be made to the existing infrastructure and arrangement of their data centres.

Mr Christensen's appointment to the board of directors at Virtensys was announced on July 27th, with the veteran adding that he is happy to play his part in ensuring the success of the company.

The firm's success was also recently recognised when it was named as a recipient of the Top 100 Europe Tech Startup award from Red Herring as one of the continent's leading private companies in terms of innovation.
