Workforce to be 37% Mobile by 2015 Reveals IDC

A recent IDC study has revealed that 1.3billion people will be working mobile by 2015; a figure which accounts for 37.2% of the global workforce.
The EMEA mobile demographic has been predicted to grow at an impressive compound annual growth rate of 5.6% while Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) will be setting the pace as it registers 838.7m mobile workers by 2015.
Senior research analyst at IDC, Stacy Crook, said: “Our forecast shows that the worldwide mobile worker population will increase from just over 1 billion in 2010 to more than 1.3 billion by 2015."
