Zycko demonstrates optimisation and efficiency model at IP EXPO

Zycko has announced that it will be using IP EXPO to demonstrate its optimisation and efficiency model. In an effort to resolve some of the growing demands on IT infrastructure, Zycko will be presenting some of its tried and tested solutions that it offers customers.

The solutions that Zycko has developed fall into six categories:

• Growth in virtualisation – virtualisation has become a talking point, particularly with regard to data centres and networks. Through manufacturers such as Hitachi Data Systems, Meru, Tintri, Vyatta, Talari and Xsigo, Zycko are able to offer storage, wireless, I/O and WAN virtualisation solutions.

• Wireless growth – the increase in the use of tablets and smart phones has put new demands on networks. Zycko delivers solutions that overcome many of the performance-related issues that arise from these new technologies.

• Growth in video – the use of video technology (such as videoconferencing and streaming) is becoming increasingly prevalent. Zycko offers solutions from key manufacturers, including LifeSize, Huawei Symantec and Snom.

• Data storage growth – With the rapidly increasing growth in data, Zycko provides solutions that enable users to manage and optimise data storage from manufacturers such as Hitachi Data Systems, Tintri, Huawei Symantec and ExaGrid.

• Power consumption growth – Technology from manufacturers like Eaton allows Zycko to offer solutions that monitor and reduce the consumption of power. 

• Growth in distributed working – Zycko provides solutions through LifeSize, Riverbed and Asigra that enhance the performance, productivity and data security of those working remotely and branch offices.
