Tintri Achieves Oracle PartnerNetwork Gold Status

Tintri, a leading producer of smart storage for virtualisation and cloud environments, has announced that it has achieved Gold Partner status in the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).

By attaining Gold level membership, Tintri has been recognised by Oracle for its commitment to establishing Oracle related knowledge in delivering application-aware storage and uniquely addressing the challenges of joint customers.

Tintri currently supports a wide range of Oracle Database editions including Oracle Database 12c and Oracle E-Business Suite. These databases eliminate the need to over provision storage in order to maintain long-term performance, ensuring organisations can reduce their capital investment and expenses.

With the help of Tintri, enterprises can manage application data in thousands of production VMs, using both on and off premises or cloud based infrastructures. The capabilities of this VM-level data management, protection and analytics can also help customers to deploy Oracle Database and applications across all major hypervisors on Tintri.

Andy Lee, EVP of alliances at Tintri, has stated that the firm is excited about expanding an already strong relationship with Oracle. “Oracle-based applications are important to a vast number of our enterprise customers, and this membership will ensure our joint customers can take better advantage of product support as well as gain new insight into best practices," he said.

This Gold level partnership will also enable Tintri to start developing specialisations that allow them to grow their business, reach higher levels of customer retention and create differentiation in the marketplace.
